Curious to experience the desert from the back of a camel?
Our mini camel tours are the perfect choice if you'd like to try camel riding without committing to a long journey.
This short and scenic ride is a favorite among our guests, especially right after arrival. You’ll begin your trek on camelback in Rum Village, enjoying a peaceful 30-minute to 1 hour ride through the desert.
At the end of the ride, a Jeep will meet you, and from there, you can continue your adventure on a guided Jeep tour. Alternatively, you can choose to do the camel ride in the morning before departure, ending your trek back in Rum Village.
Experience the desert at its most magical—during a peaceful 1 to 1.5 hour trek at night, sunrise, or sunset. Whether you walk under a sky full of stars, watch the first light touch the sand, or admire the golden glow of the setting sun, this is a moment you won’t forget.
The night trek offers a sense of mystery and wonder. The stars shine brightly in the clear sky, and the silence of the desert becomes almost otherworldly. It’s a calming and deeply moving way to connect with nature.
If you prefer the sunrise, you’ll start just before dawn, walking as the desert slowly comes to life in soft pinks and golds. For a perfect end to your day, the sunset option lets you watch the landscape turn fiery red as the sun dips behind the mountains.
